The Neighborhood:
Incredible beauty and recreation can be found on Hayden Lake, but the quality of life is the biggest draw of all. The cities of Hayden and Hayden Lake both border the western shores of Hayden Lake. About 4,000 acres in size with 40 miles of shoreline, the lake hosts one full-service marina and two public boat launches. Fishing and water sports are popular pastimes on the lake. Residents and visitors can stroll down the sandy shores of Honeysuckle Beach with a roped swim area, dock, public change house, and restrooms, or enjoy an afternoon of shopping in the city’s downtown business district where locally-owned shops, boutiques, pubs, and amenities of all types are easily accessible.
Hayden Lake offers some of the most desired lakefront living in North Idaho. Enjoy an afternoon drive around the lake on narrow, windy forested roads with stops at the Clark House, Avondale Golf Course, and many beautiful neighborhoods.
Attractions such as Triple Play, the Northwest’s biggest family fun park, is open every day of the year. Hayden is the “Home of Idaho’s first 18-hole golf course” – the Hayden Lake Country Club, plus there’s another PGA-rated golf course, Avondale on Hayden. And Hayden is just minutes from Silverwood Theme Park, the Northwest’s largest theme park with more than 65 rides and attractions.
